To illustrate the poignancy of Prana, a couple of poems have been sampled here :

" I " Shutting my eyes
When my-self I see
My self being lost
Am struck with perplexity.
When amidst the world I wander
It's the world I see
When amidst my realm I enter
The world seems a falsity.
Then I head the Anahata
See the Omkara
And a million moons thousand suns source of world's beauty
Then I'm truly happy.
Finite me, restless me
Ceasing I see
The dot me, infinite me
The void I be.
Pondering about losing my self
When my self ceases
Then not being able to find my self
Shamchurn pervades.
I'm Shamachurn, Shamachurn I'm
There's no differentiation
Hark ye mortals, barring
Bhagavan Shamachurn
There's no salvation.
OBEISANCE
Amidst Kutastha You dwell
In Shamachurn's Form (beautiful)
In a similar way You exisiting
In the Universal Form; (all-pervading)
Creation preservation
emanates from you
Dissolution results in You
Nothing in this world can be
caused barring You.
From You evolves passion
From You indignation
From You evolves devotion
In You is caused retribution;
You are knowledge; You are darkness
You have Form, You are Formless
Light Prana-lamp in all-ness
My soul's realm I enlighten
The lamp of knowledge I hold on,
You're the Saviour,
dynamism's Captor;
How do I worship O Dear
Your Feet Divine
Barring You I know nothing,
O Bhagavan Shamachurn,
Without Kriya You Can't
be worshipped
You're Kriya's Flower, through Kriya
You can be conquesred
You're Kriya’s Fruit, merging in You is the Absolute Truth.

The inherent beauty of Kriya yoga can be gleaned while reading Dr. Chatterjee’s books. The essence of spirituality is latent in one and all and Dr. Chatterjee has endeavoured to deliver the scientific analysis through which the dormant state of spirituality can be awakened and slowely gradually but ultimately the inevitable state of peaceful repose a much coveted state will blossom.
